Watch how simple it is to build a form with Wufoo

We loooove videos here at Wufoo and of course, we love how-to videos especially. Who doesn’t love to learn, eh?

So getting back to basics a bit, our resident Martin Scorsese, Kane, has created yet another screencast on the fly for you on our favorite thing ever–form-building. Last time, he went through a quick dive, this time he’s going in even deeper.

Hold your breath, here we go.

  • I’m trying to design a Declaration form and need to add some blocks of text, some bold, some plain without there being a box for inputting anything. Is there a way I can do this?

  • When I need to do this I add a Section Break field. The field accepts basic HTML, so you can use to make the bold text bold.

  • How do I direct capture a user pic ( from the phone camera) and add to the form.? nothing as messy as ‘upload from folder’. Something as elegant as clicking on a picture(?) field?

  • @Martin Absolutely, you’ll want to use a Section Break for that, it will let you add text to your form without including an input field. (Spot on Ramanuj, thanks!) To make text bold, you can use a bit of HTML. We suggest checking out W3 schools for a good set of tutorials on how to use HTML tags, they do a good job over there!

  • @Lavanian Our File Upload field does allow this, however not all operating systems behave the same in this respect! Give it a test with a File Upload field and let us know if you’re having any trouble through our support form here.
